Unimaginative, shallow regurgitation of things already seen

The Force Awakens is a sad collage of scenes and bits that we have already seen - and much better - in Episodes IV, V and VI.

There is no original story. There are no relationships between the characters. The whole movie feels like a cheap copy of something we loved 30 years ago.

I feel mocked. Do they think we don't remember? Do they think we cannot tell that they could not come up with a new original plot?

Watching The Force Awakens is like a Star Wars convention: It's a money machine. The whole content of this movie is to show off some old props, see the stars, and reminisce about how awesome the original trilogy was.

JJ Abrams and his uncreative team deserve to be flogged and shamed and exiled to a planet that does look exactly like the death star but is just BIGGER. Forever.
